I write the same way I shoot. Looking for the thing underneath the thing.

Written Work

I make things that help people see themselves.

I started a Substack mainly to house my poetry, thoughts, inspiration, and quickly I found it to be a beautiful outlet for all things artistic that didn't have a home.

I write about photography, imagery and brand work at Shots By Mich and my reflections on creativity and spirituality at Written By Mich. Sometimes they both have a little of both.

That's the fun of it.
